Glen B. Prange was born on October 18, 1926 in Firth Nebraska to Gerrit and Jennie Prange. He graduated Panama High School in 1943 and joined the Navy in 1945. While in the Navy, Glen served as a radio operator out of Gulf Port, Mississippi.
Following his service in the Navy, Glen attended the University of Nebraska and played for the Cornhuskers until a broken leg ended his career. In 1951, Glen started his career in construction of which he retired in 1988.
Glen and Henrietta Huenink were married on February 12, 1954 and raised three children in the Holland, Nebraska community.
Glen, an avid fisherman, loved to fish in local farm ponds for Bluegill and Bullheads. He always looked forward to his summer fishing trip to Minnesota with his family and friends.
Glen was a member of the Holland Reformed church for decades and was actively involved as an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School teacher and various other roles during his lifetime.
Glen will be greatly missed by his wife, Henrietta; Daughters, Connie (Dennis) of Omaha, NE; Lissa (Dan) of Lincoln, NE; and Son, Craig (Jeralyn) of Elk River, MN. Brother, Norman Prange. Grandsons, Andrew Wismer and Benjamin Buhr; Granddaughters, Katie Knight, Kara Willems, Sarie Whitson, Dani Attanasio, Betha Peoples, Hannah Pecoraro, Faith Prange, Moriah Prange, Mary Prange, Miriam Dopp. Great Grandsons, Isaac and Lucas Knight, Titus Willems, Levi and Reid Wismer, Hudson Buhr, Isaiah and Hayes Whitson, Copland Attanasio; Great Granddaughters, Naomi and Natalie Knight, Eden Willems, Emma Wismer, Isla and Eve Whitson, Kinley Buhr, Scout and Holland Attanasio.
He was preceded in death by his Dad Gerrit J. Prange, his mother Jennie G. Wieskamp and his sister Ruth Zweerink.
Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Metcalf Funeral Home Firth Chapel, 309 Nemaha Street, Firth, NE
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2021 at Reformed Church of Holland, 22005 S. 96th Street, Hickman, NE
Burial prior to the Service 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2021 at Holland Cemetery, 9105 Panama Road, Hickman, NE
